About the journal

Muqtasid: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Perbankan Syariah (Journal of Islamic Economics and Banking), with registered number ISSN 2087-7013 (Print) and ISSN 2527-8304 (Online), is a peer-reviewed journal published two times a year (every June and December) by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, IAIN Salatiga.

Muqtasid: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Perbankan Syariah (Journal of Islamic Economics and Banking) is intended to be the journal for publishing articles either the concept/thought or the results of the field research on Islamic Finance and Islamic Financial Institution. The journal invites manuscripts in the various topics include, but not limited to, functional areas of Islamic Banking, Islamic Rural Bank, Islamic Assurance, Islamic Pawnshop, Islamic Capital Market, Islamic Microfinance, Islamic Mutual Funds, and Islamic Bonds, etc.

Muqtasid: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Perbankan Syariah (Journal of Islamic Economics and Banking) has been accredited on the grade of Sinta 2 by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of The Republic of Indonesia based on Decree No. 30/E/KPT/2019 on November 11, 2019. Starting in 2020, All submitted manuscripts should use English.
